Executive MBA Application Checklist:
You may choose to apply online or with a paper application. In either case, we must receive the following to consider your application complete:
- Executive MBA Online Application - The online application requests information about yourself, your education and your employment history. You can save your progress on the application and return later. Before you submit the application, all online forms must be completed.

- Two Evaluations from Managers - You’ll be asked to submit the names of two managers in your organization who know you well and who can evaluate your ability to perform in the EMBA program. At least one of these managers should be able to speak for the organization’s support of your participation. We will contact these individuals via email to request the evaluation.

- Transcripts - Transcripts must be official copies, sent directly from the issuing school to the University of Tennessee. Most universities allow you to request these via the school’s web site. If not, this site offers transcript request forms that you may use to request transcripts from your previous university or universities.

- Graduate Management Admissions Test Results – Applicants who have greater than ten years of managerial experience AND greater than a 3.0 undergraduate GPA are NOT required to take Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). GMAT results must be mailed to the University of Tennessee directly from the Educational Testing Service. Applicant copies of GMAT scores are not acceptable.

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Results – Required of applicants whose native language is not English. TOEFL results must be mailed to the University of Tennessee directly from the Education Testing Service. Applicant’s copies of TOEFL scores are not acceptable.

- $35 Graduate School Application Fee – Send a personal check, money order or cashier’s check payable to the University of Tennessee. To pay by credit card, please contact Helen Harmon-Cargile, Program Coordinator, at (865) 974-8081.
