The following must be received for an application to be considered complete:

 

  • Completed Executive MBA Admission Application
  • Two Recommendations:  to be completed by two managers in the applicant’s organization who know the applicant well and who can speak for the organization’s support of their participation in the program.
  • Official Transcripts:  (in English) from the registrar of each university or college attended, for both undergraduate and graduate work. Transcripts must be official copies, sent directly from the issuing school to the Executive MBA Program office. For most universities, these are requested via the school’s web site. If not, this site offers a transcript request form.
  • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) Results:  Applicants who have greater than ten years of managerial experience AND greater than a 3.0 undergraduate GPA are NOT required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Official GMAT scores must be sent to the Executive MBA Program office directly from the Educational Testing Service.
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Results:  Required of applicants whose native language is not English. Official scores must be sent to the Executive MBA Program office directly from the Educational Testing Service.
  • $35 Graduate School Application Fee:  Send a personal check, money order or cashier’s check payable to the University of Tennessee, or call 1-800-486-EMBA (1-800-486-3622) to pay by credit card.

Once the completed application has been submitted, an interview will be scheduled, either in person or by telephone, with the Director of the Executive MBA Program.
