The 2010 program fee for the Executive MBA Program will be $64,000. Payment is due in advance of each semester or may be paid in a lump sum in advance of the first semester. Within thirty days of admission, applicants who have been accepted must indicate their intent to attend by a letter of commitment and a non-refundable deposit of $1000, which will be applied to the program fee. The program fee beyond 2010 is subject to change.
Program fees must be received by the College of Business Administration no later than the dates specified below:
- Non-refundable deposit – 30 days after admission: $1000
- First Semester – December 15: $21,000
- Second Semester – April 15: $21,000
- Third Semester – August 15: $21,000
The program fee includes all university tuition, books and materials, lodging, transportation to and from classes and special events during residence periods, and the majority of meals during the residence periods. During the international residence period, lodging is double occupancy, but single occupancy is available for an additional charge. The program fee does not include the following:
- Laptop computer (If needed, students can purchase a laptop through the UT Computer Store at a discount. For assistance with the purchase, contact the EMBA Program office at 1-800-486-EMBA.)
- Travel to and from the domestic residence periods
- Travel to and from the international residence period
- Occasional residence period meals
The Executive MBA Program at the University of Tennessee is committed to providing information needed to obtain financial resources for all qualified students.
Many applicants’ companies provide full or partial financial support. The University of Tennessee recommends that the employer be the first contact when investigating sources of funding for educational expenses.
