All students in the EMBA Program must be sponsored by their employers, who agree to the students’ attendance, time away from work and applied management projects. In particular, it is critical that sponsors agree to and respect the crucial “immersion concept” of the program, allowing students to focus on their education during the residence periods.
Given the immediate gains of the year’s projects and the long-term value of the knowledge and leadership skills acquired, many organizations provide full financial support for the participant. However, some organizations may require that participants share some of the financial cost. Such financial sharing arrangements should be worked out in advance and must be clearly stated in the program application.
